A Soldier’s Child Interview

Meet Daryl Mackin Founder of A Soldiers Child Foundation. Their mission is to give back to families of our fallen heroes. They do that by giving special customized birthday gifts every year to children until their 18th birthday that have lost a parent/guardian in active duty. In this interview my guest is Jamie Vernon Founder and Director of Songs for Sound.

‘Songs for Sound is a Nashville-based charity whose core mission is to improve the quality of life for profoundly deaf children worldwide by providing resources to give them the chance at a mainstream life. Songs for Sound will inform the deaf community and provide resources for cochlear implants and rehabilitation, including speech/audiology services, to children in need regardless of race, religion or any other criteria.’

Poverty and The Arts Interview

I recently enjoyed interviewing Nicole Brandt the Founder of Poverty and the Arts. Their goal is ‘to empower homeless individuals as artists and creatives by helping them generate income, meaning, and purpose in life.
