As Spring finally takes a turn for a more than welcome, more permanent stay in Middle Tennessee, the Nashville weekend happenings continue to heat up. Here’s what’s happenin’ in the Music City:

FRIDAY, April 18, 2014

  • Nashville Film Festivalat Regal Green Hills & Downtown across from the Country Music Hall of Fame at various times (4/17 – 4/26) – The Walk of Fame Park has a free film every night, Happy Hour Short Films, Drink Specials, live music and tons of vendors. An obvious choice!
  • Questlove DJ Set at SEEN at 8pm ($25/$40 for Two)
  • Leagues w/Dugas and Little Tybee at The Basementat 7:30pm ($3 with Red Bull RSVP) – The Basement’s intimate setting plus the musical talents of headliner and local band, Leagues will prove for a pretty sweet little Friday night.
